“If you seek knowledge, you also seek change.”
Pai Lum Tao, also known as White Dragon, is a combination of Kung Fu, Kenpo, and Tai Chi. It was created by Po Fong and later
developed more by his grandson Daniel K. Pai based on his understanding of his lifetime of Martial Arts training and teaching. The
unique philosophy of Pai Lum Tao is contained within its various martial, meditative, and chi kung forms.
Forms training is one of the most effective tools of Pai Lum Tao. It is beautiful to watch and deadly at the same time. Pai Lum Tao
consists of techniques from the five animal system found in Shaolin, the Tiger, Leopard, Crane, Snake, and Dragon.
A Pai Lum Tao student begins with basic techniques, and then moves to empty-hand forms and weapon forms. Through forms they
learn the different executions of the long-range and short-range, ridged and flexible, singular and multiple, contemporary and ancient.
This is one of the many reasons why Pai Lum Tao is well known for its fighting effectiveness.
Pai Lum Tao does not only offer self-defense techniques but also physical, mental, and spiritual discipline. Daily practice of Pai Lum Tao
gains students self-knowledge and self-confidence. It is also a way for the student to realize his or her potential.
